Happy Birthday to our sweet, fun, busy 2 year old, Wendy. We are so grateful for Wendy and the spirit she brings into our home. Wendy loves to play outside and is getting brave going down big slides. It's difficult for her to pass any park without wanting to stop and play. She loves riding her glider bike, but is very cautious and anxious about the possibility of cars coming. Wendy loves singing and is usually singing a song or making observations about her world. She's getting really good at playing nicely with Kyle and he is starting to be her favorite friend. When Kyle starts to go up the stairs, he now waits for Wendy. She says "No Kyle! No fall down!" Then she climbs the stairs next to him with both of them giggling the whole way. So far, Wendy has sang Happy Birthday to herself the two weeks before and after her birthday....with enthusiasm.
Wendy was so excited to get a fruit cutting set for her Birthday! She wants to cut the fruit all day!
She also loves her ABC puzzle that is 10 foot long! She's getting good at putting the puzzle pieces together.
We made cupcakes in ice cream cones for her Birthday this year. Wendy was ecstatic! Daddy stayed home from work so we could go to the pool and park as a family. Wendy was in heaven!!
We had a few friends over that evening to celebrate.
Happy Birthday Wendy!

What alsum videos and pictures, thank you for sharing. I do have some gifts that I have been picking up here and there sorry I havent sent them. Grandma promises she will send your presents and Kyles by your brothers birthday.
Love Ya Grandma Perdue
she is such a happy little thing! And I love that she sang Happy birthday to herself 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after- now it makes sense that she would be a bit confused that KYLE'S name has been inserted in the Birthday song this week. That's why family is so important- it teaches us that the world doesn't always revolve just around ourselves (most of the time!)
