About a month ago, when Kyle opened his mouth, we noticed the roof of his mouth was dark. Upon further inspection, we realized that one of the many leaves Kyle puts in his mouth had decided to stick to the roof of his mouth. We tried to peal it off, but it would not come out. Finally we both held him down and used tweezers to catch a tiny corner of the leaf and pull it out of his mouth. This has not stopped him from bolting towards any leaf in sight to put it in his mouth.
