Chatuchak Weekend Market

A friend and I went to the Chatuchak weekend market a couple of weeks ago. Here's the view from the parking garage. These roofs are over all of the vendor stalls. The market is 35 acres with over 8000 stalls! This is not an exaggeration!! Needless to say, we didn't get to see the whole market this trip.

But I did bring home a gorgeously carved xylophone. Wendy loves it and is quite good at playing it.

I can't wait to check out the rest of the market while we are here! It may take me three years to explore it all, but I'm up for the challenge! I just may never be able to find a particular booth again next time.

That xylophone is awesome!!! What a neat thing to have. I'm sure you will have so many cool treasures!! Have I told you that Henry plays with our nesting dolls almost daily!?!?!

35 acres??! That is amazing. How are the prices? I know that food there is really excpensive but are other home made things cheaper?
