More Bangkok

Here are some more pictures of our house in Bangkok and our kiddos. Chris and Wendy are sitting in the two story living room with the family/play room behind them.
Our massive yard. We were just told that Nichida was built on a swamp and has had Cobra sightings, so we probably won't spend too much time in the yard anyway. The nice part is that someone else maintains the yard for us. Yay!Here's the neighborhood playground. Each little community has their own. We may be exploring other options for the middle of the day when a metal slide is not ideal. Our neighborhood pool. The olympic size swimming pool is for the whole community of Nichida. There are many neighborhoods in Nichida and we live in Regent. So this pool is just for eight streets of houses. The Regent lawn, next to the playground.
Here's our kitchen and dining room.Playroom. It will be much different when all of our stuff arrives. The tv will be moved into the living room and the desk upstairs. I'll send pictures when we make it our own.Growing boy! He's starting to look so grown up! We were assigned a social sponsor upon our arrival. Brittany has been amazing. She helped our work sponsor get everything set up and ready in our house. They made the beds, washed the dishes, stocked our fridge, etc. Brittany even brought over a bunch of toys for our kids. She has taken me to a few stores, the local favorite restaurant Que Pasa (Go figure...in Thailand!), and introduced me to many other local stay at home moms.Wendy's new thing is that whenever I am taking a picture of Kyle, she runs right in front of me and says "Cheese!" It's adorable! Here's Wendy trying out her new butterfly towel. Such a funny girl.
I had to capture this moment that I like to call payback. Wendy likes to lay on Kyle. He's so big that he just thinks it's funny. But, today he learned how to fight back. He grabbed a chunk of Wendy's hair. They both were giggling the whole time.Wendy has decided it's fun to help Kyle play with toys. So, she takes his hand and has him press the buttons to make music. He's not as enthusiastic about this game, but he does enjoy being in the exersaucer so he can see everyone.
"Cheese!"
