Safari World

I'm pretty sure my favorite place in Thailand is Safari World.  It's our own magical kingdom for animals in Thailand.  The kids are in heaven when we go.  Now that they are getting older, they are even more excited about the animals!  Chris took two days off last week to add to the 4th of July holiday, so we had three days to play before we take off for the states.  One day we went to Safari World.  Part of the park is a driving park where you can see the animals from your car.

We let the kids out of their carseats and I sat in back with them while we drove around looking at the animals.  Double bonus for them!

Wendy was so brave and fed the giraffes for the first time this time.  She had to hold my hand, but it was a huge step for her!

Kyle was totally calm with the giant creatures around him.  He loved to be a big kid and walk around and give the giraffes food.
Ignore the massive mama belly! Yikes!

Kyle wasn't sure why we interrupted his walking and feeding routine.  But, the giraffe behind me licked Wendy and I from behind, causing me to scream a little bit.  So, the rest of the pictures have Wendy trying to get as far away from the giraffe as possible.

We love the shows at Safari World.  We saw a Sea Lion show, elephant show, and dolphin show.  They were all spectacular as usual!
We even got Wendy a little pony ride!

Fun Fun day!!

Meagan, these kind of adventures make me a bit nervous that you are going to be so bored when you are back in the states! We have NOTHING like this in Atlanta! Hopefully you really are ok with just chillin' for the months you are in the USA cause our Safari World is not only expensive, but pathetic! I guess it is good that you will have some things that are way better in Bangkok! :)
