Wendy's Blessing

April 11, Wendy was blessed in our church. Chris performed a beautiful blessing and Wendy was a champ through the whole thing. Here are mom and baby getting ready to head to church.
Grandpa Sharp came up for the blessing. It was so great to have him here for the weekend and especially for this special blessing!

By the time we took solo pictures of Wendy, she was hot and uncomfortable. So, we lost the socks and shoes and are just happy she was still smiling.

We are so greatful for all of the many blessings we have been given, especially for our sweet little family.

We had many fabulous friends come to share in our special day. This is the Josephson family. Chris knew them years ago and then they were in our ward in England. They are such a great family and we felt like a piece of our English family was here with us today.

These are our friends Brooke and Scott that we knew from the singles ward. They are now married and we are planning a trip to the beach with them this summer.

Here we are with Todd and Heather Woodruff. Todd is my sister-in-law Sarena's brother and we love having Todd and Heather closeby as family friends! We are so excited to meet their new little girl next month!

We are also so grateful that Melissa Wright and Brandon and Megan Bassett came to the blessing as well. We are bummed we didn't get pictures with them, but are so happy that they are in our lives and were willing to make sacrifices to support us on this special day.
