We took a drive to Eastern Washington to spend a few days with the Smiths. It started to snow when we were getting ready to go, so we were a bit nervous on the drive. But the roads were clear most of the way. What a gorgeous view!
The kids got to go sledding!!! Wendy LOVED sledding with daddy down the hill! She wasn't too thrilled when Kyle joined them and she was almost falling off the sled. But, boy were they COLD!!!
We went to a New Years Eve party with some of the Smiths' fabulous friends. They had a game for the kids where they have a balloon tied to their ankle and they try to pop everyone's balloons. The younger kids weren't too good at it, but they loved the balloons.

The Smith kids were so great with my kids! Abby read some books to Kyle.
Wendy wanted to wear Abby's headband, so Abby took it off and gave it to her. So sweet!
My kids helped/distracted Abby while she practiced piano.
Rachel could often be found cuddled up next to Maxwell.
We went to a gymnastics gym where they had a ton of kids and toys. Wendy took the drivers seat and wouldn't give it up for quite a while.
Wendy's favorite toy ended up being a random gymnastics wedge.
Maxwell loved the exersaucer so he could see everyone and lots of toys.
Wendy approved of Tami's famous cake! Most meals she insisted on sitting next to Benson.
