Happy Birthday Wendy! I can't believe how grown up our little girl is! She is three and is learning to put her dishes in the dishwasher, go potty (including wiping, flushing, washing her hands, and closing the lid) by herself, put herself to bed occasionally, and is getting brave when meeting new people (as long as they don't touch her like the Thais do).
Wendy let Kyle open a present. Then he wanted to open them all...
Wendy got lots of arts and crafts supplies for our at home preschool.
Daddy got the job of keeping Kyle from the presents.
Wendy decided she wanted to go to a waterpark for her birthday. It was only 15 minutes away and $10 for our whole family. Score! She ended up playing with her bathing suit instead of keeping it in the pile of suits, so it didn't make it in the bag. So, she got a new bathing suit too! Major score cause we found a cheap bathing suit shop!
The bummer about this water park is that you have to wear swim caps. They are cheap to rent, but the idea is kinda gross. So, we are buying our own caps.We sat down and were surrounded by all of the Thai kids in the area. Finally Maxwell had enough and started crying. They scattered pretty quickly after that.
We took turns taking one kid at a time down the waterslide. They LOVED IT!!!
Wendy got her ice cream cone cupcakes!!
We sure love our sweet, sensitive, helpful, witty little girl! Happy Birthday Wendy!
