Happy 1st Birthday Kyle!!!

Our happy little man is one year old!  Kyle is a very bright, happy, cuddly, little imitator.  We are constantly amazed at how fast he picks up new things.  He is constantly watching everyone around him.  So, he throws a ball like a champ, puts together Mega blocks on his own, and helps clean up toys by putting them into bins.  He stands up on any surface he can find and walks along furniture but has little interest in holding our fingers and walking.  He loves to play with whatever Wendy is doing, loves reading books, and jabbers in his own language frequently.  He says mama and dada at the right times, says ball when he plays with balls, and often copies us when we say wow.  He loves everyone from a distance and has a very magnetic personality.  It's hard for anyone to not love our little guy.  He is a tough guy and barely cries when he falls down or bonks his head.  He's not a fan of teething though... Kyle loves being outside despite the 100 degree weather and loves all forms of water.  He loves splashing and diving into the pool, baby pool or tub.  We sure love our fun little guy!

 Yes, this is a chicken drumstick in his mouth.  This boy can eat a quarter chicken by himself and is still begging for more.  So, we gave him a drumstick so we could eat too.  He loved it!

 On Kyle's birthday, we did all of his favorite things.  We went to the park and swung, went swimming, and spent some time in our baby pool after naps.

 We bought Kyle a musical ball for his birthday.  It was a huge hit with both kids!

 s my pathetic piano cake with chocolate chips.  It looked cooler in the picture online.  We had a little party for Kyle after dinner.
