Kyle is 9 months old!!

Our sweet boy is nine months old today! Time sure flies!  Kyle is such a sweet baby.  He loves to cuddle (head butt you or suck on your face), still smiles with his whole body (to anyone who will look him in the eye and smile), and is sure he is Wendy's age.  He can roll across the room in seconds, turn and roll somewhere else to effectively grab something he's not supposed to have before anyone knows it's on the floor. He thinks crawling is a totally lame idea and wants to be in standing position at all times.  Kyle is a terrific eater and will eat almost anything if he's the one putting it in his mouth.  He is very clear when he is upset about something and enjoys yelling to get attention.  His favorite toy is whatever Wendy is playing with and his favorite game is to get Wendy's passy out of her mouth and into his mouth before anyone stops him.  Kyle is already in 12-18 month clothes and is quite a solid kid.  When he's upset, he can be distracted quickly by talking to him or singing (which results in some great dance moves).  Kyle loves it when daddy comes home and needs his daddy cuddles immediately!  When Chris throws or spins Wendy, we hear about it from Kyle so that he makes sure to get his turn.  Kyle loves going on walks in the stroller....as long as it keeps moving or doesn't stop too long.  

 Kyle now has to sit in a portable high chair when we ride on the golf cart.  He loves golf cart rides and shows his enthusiasm by flailing his arms and legs the whole ride.  It's just better if he's strapped in.

 Kyle loves big kid toys and was ecstatic this week when he got to drive the car!  He moved several feet backwards on his first ride.

 It keeps shocking me how much this kid can eat with no teeth!  If something is too big or hard to chew, he just spits it out and grabs more food.  He doesn't love vegetables as much as Wendy has always loved them, but he tolerates them if he can feed himself.  Give him some meat and he will be yelling for more!

 Standing up on whatever mom lets him stand next to.  He's still working on pulling himself up.  But, he is so happy when we figure out that standing is what he wants!

 Poor little guy has a cough and runny nose today.  But, you definitely can't tell.  He's so happy.

 As soon as I took out the passy, Wendy headbutted Kyle, so this was the best one we got.

 We usually hold Kyle up on a chair so he can play this keyboard on the stand.  But, I put it on the floor one day and he was so excited!  He loves to bang pianos!  He also knows that if he yells into this microphone, it sounds even louder, so he loves that!

We sure love our happy little guy!
