Wendy and I came to cheer on Chris and Wesley. It had warmed up to 55 degrees by the time Chris finished the race at 10:30. He trained in the heat and humity of the East Coast, so he was even more prepared!

Half Marathon!
We are so proud of Chris for running his first half marathon!!! He ran the first half of the race with his brother and then sped up to finish in 2.5 hours. When he crossed the finish line, it looked like he could have kept going. He trained hard for the race and was well prepared. This was the Rock N Roll marathon in Seattle with lots of hills, live bands, and a tunnel. He has caught the bug and is looking forward to running a half marathon again.

Way to go Chris! You "rock"! I am sure that our family will be headed to that event for Adam to run sometime. It seems like such a cool event!
