Grandpa Kyle and Grandma Vicki Visit

One of Chris' heroes is his Grandpa Kyle. Chris and Kyle often comment that Grandpa gave the boys all of the horrible jobs on the ranch so that they would be motivated to graduate from college. It seems to have worked. We were so excited that Kyle and Vicki would take time out of their busy ranch schedule to fly across the country to see their new great-grandbaby.
We had gorgeous weather and took Kyle and Vicki to D.C. to check out some of the sites. Wendy was a champ!
Here we are at the Washington Monument.
Wendy is getting incredibly flexible and can eat almost anywhere now.
Grandpa, Wendy and I at the Lincoln Memorial.

Checking out the White House.
Wendy was exhausted by the end of the day. Here she is taking a nap at Texas Roadhouse while we ate dinner. She was such a great baby all weekend.
We also took Kyle and Vicki to the Dulles Air and Space Museum. This is the Blackbird spy plane. Grandpa was so excited to see all of these planes he learned about on the Discovery Channel.
Wendy was excited to see the Space Shuttle Enterprise.

Wendy loved being held by her Great-Grandpa.
Grandma Vicki had the touch.

Thank you Grandpa Kyle and Grandma Vicki for making the sacrifice to come see our sweet baby girl!
