Kyle Anthony Perdue

When choosing a name for our new baby, we take extra care to make sure the name we give our child will mean something to us and to the child. A name defines a person in so many ways. We have so many amazing role models in our lives. So many people we can thank for their influence in helping us to become the people we are today. We have been toying with the name Kyle Anthony Perdue for a boy option since we found out I was pregnant with Wendy. As soon as I knew I was pregnant this time, I felt very strongly that this child would be Kyle Anthony. I was sure of it. Chris too felt very strongly that this name fit this particular child. Neither of us were surprised at all to find out that this baby is a boy. We already knew him.

Kyle is Chris's paternal grandfather. Grandpa Kyle taught Chris to work hard, stay focused on his goals, and that Chris can do anything he sets his mind to doing. Chris has an amazing sense of determination and work ethic that can be greatly attributed to Grandpa Kyle. We also know Grandpa Kyle as an incredibly caring, giving, supportive man that is always there for us. Chris' dad goes by Tony after his middle name Anthony. Tony has also taught Chris the value of hard work, dedication, and loyalty to family. Chris can tell Tony anything and know that his dad will always stand behind him in his decisions. Tony is incredibly kind and thoughtful towards others and is very involved in the lives of his kids.
We look forward to the time when we can bring our son to the ranch to work alongside Great-Grandpa Kyle and Grandpa Tony like Chris did as a kid. We hope our son will become a great man like these two heroes of ours.
